OSU-Cascades Cycling Club

Collegiate club dedicated to trying to inspire as many people as possible to join and discover the joys of mountain biking! They range from social riders to serious racers racing enduro, cyclocross, and road and are also looking into hosting a few races of their own this year.  

Mercer Island Mountain Bike Team

Mercer Island Mountain Bike Team (MIMTB) was started by a mother, Heather Libman, who wanted to provide a space for middle and high schoolers to find passion in outdoor recreation through mountain biking. Heather did countless hours of research on how to organize the club, where the riders could compete, how to have a positive impact on the community, and lead young athletes on a road towards a healthy active lifestyle. MIMTB has grown since its first season in 2015 from 15 riders and 4 coaches to 65 riders and 15 coaches for 2017. The mission of MIMTB to provide a fun, motivating and empowering environment for all involved has been thoroughly realized.

 

The Story

Founded by a professional mountain biker, Turn Loose knows how challenging it can be for young athletes to pursue the sports they love. We strive to address this problem by giving cash to support projects and young athletes. When people purchase Turn Loose gear, we want them to feel good knowing their money is being used for a good cause.

No one knows how to best help the development of a sport than the athletes themselves, which is why Turn Loose is collaborating with athletes across all sports. Athletes will help develop a product or product line, and a portion of the profits will be donated to a young athlete or organization of the athlete's choosing.

We will be sharing the stories of the young athletes and organizations receiving our funds to further inspire our community and the rest of the world- the Turn Loose cycle of inspiration and support.
